आजको दिन केवल उत्सवको दिन मात्र होइन, यो नारीको साहस, संघर्ष, माया र त्यागलाई सम्झने विशेष दिन हो। संसारको प्रत्येक सफलताको पछाडि कुनै न कुनै रूपमा नारीको प्रेरणा र साथ लुकेको हुन्छ। आमा भएर सन्तानलाई माया दिनु, दिदी–बहिनी भएर साथ दिनु, साथी भएर हौसला दिनु र समाजलाई अघि बढाउन निरन्तर मेहनत गर्नु—यी सबै नारीका अनुपम योगदान हुन्। नारी केवल घरको आधार मात्र होइन, समाज र राष्ट्रको बलियो स्तम्भ पनि हुन्। उनीहरूको धैर्यता, सहनशीलता, माया र दृढताले संसारलाई अझ सुन्दर र उज्यालो बनाएको छ। यस विशेष अवसरमा संसारभरका सबै आमा, दिदी, बहिनी तथा सम्पूर्ण महिलाहरूलाई सम्मान, कृतज्ञता र माया व्यक्त गर्न चाहन्छौँ। तपाईंहरूको साहस, समर्पण र आत्मबलले सधैं नयाँ प्रेरणा दिइरहोस्।

Historic day :
22nd April (*Nepali date Baishakh 10)- Remembering the 28th death anniversary of National luminary PASANG LHAMU SHERPA, the first Nepali woman to reach the summit of Mt. Everest (Sagarmatha).

First Feminal Series:
Pasang Lhamu Sherpa (1961-1993 AD) - On 22nd April 1993, Pasang Lhamu Sherpa became the first Nepali woman ever to reach the top of the Mt. Everest (Sagarmatha), the highest mountain in the world. Despite all the odds, she could break the grass ceiling & accomplish what no Nepali women, & only a few Nepali men had in the country’s mountaineering history. But to our misery, while descending from the summit, the weather, as often happens in the mountains, suddenly turned bad, causing her to lose her own life on the south summit.
For her historic achievement, Pasang Lhamu was posthumously honored by various national as well as international honors, also making her the first woman to be decorated with the "Nepal Tara(star)" by the then King of Nepal.
Born on 10th December 1961 in Surke, a village in Solukhumbu, Pasang Lhamu Sherpa was a fighter and a believer in women’s strength to achieve greatness. She was a navigator. In fact, She represents a real Shero.

"आइमाई भएर के को जान्ने?" " केटि मान्छे बढी बोलेको सुहाउदैन" अक्सर यसैगरि दबिन थाल्छ छोरी मान्छेको बोली। उनको आवाज दबाइन्छ, अनि उनी आफू कम्जोर हु भन्ने बनाईन्छ। आफुलाई असहज परेको बेला नाई भन्न सक्दिनन् न त आफ्नो लागि आवाज उठाउन सक्छिन् ।दिनानुदिन कति छोरी चेली बलात्कृत बन्छन् ,कति 'एसिड एट्याक'का सिकार बन्छन् ,कति घरेलु हिंसा,योनजन्य हिंसा , सायद हरेक छोरीले आफ्नो जिवनमा कुनै न कुनै रूपमा हिंसाको सिकार भएकै हुन्छिन् ।
सबै र सधैं छोरा मान्छेले नै हुन्छ भन्ने हुदैन तर अधिकान्स घटना समाजले 'पुरुष' को उपमा दिएको छोरा मान्छे बाट हुने गर्दछ जुन दुखदायी छ। देवी पुज्ने समाजले छोरी मान्छेलाई भने सधैं आफ्नो पैताला मुनि नै राख्न खोज्छ, छोरी मान्छेले जे भएनी आफू भन्दा बढी प्रगती गरेको चाहिँ धेरैलाई अपच हुन्छ।
पुरुषार्थको आडम्बरी भावनाले ओतप्रोत भएर छोरी मान्छेलाई आफ्नो सिकार बनाउने नरपशुले यो पनि बुझ्नु जुन प्रकृतिले तिमिलाई यती शक्तिशाली बनाएकी छिन् त्यही प्रकृतिले कुकर्मको फल पनि दिन जानेकी छिन्। छोरी मान्छे जति सहनशीलता,प्रेम र करुणाको पर्याय हो त्यो भन्दा धेरै असत्य,शोषण र हिंसाको सम्हार गर्ने 'महाकाली' को पर्याय हो।

On the occasion of 110th International Women's Day,Team Warriors of Lamjung Campus has successfully completed the programme on an important topic "A Touch: Feeling of care or distress" conducted in Insight vision academy, Sundarbazar,Lamjung. Students of Class 5 and 6 were involved and they were taught about touch and to raise their voice against the bad one. We had presentation session,game sessions,video session and questionnaire session and we were very delighted to see students being interactive with us during the programme.We hope we are able to share them something that we know and they will be able to implement those things in reality.
We are very thankful to Insight Vision Academy family for letting us to share something of value even in between their busy schedule. We heartly express our gratitude to our friends Bhuwan gauli for designing pamplet and Sanjay Nepali for banner of the programme. We also like to thank our friends of fourth semester,our seniors and juniors who supported us in our works. Last but not the least,thanks to each and every members of 'The Warriors' whose contribution has made a dream come true. We hope for doing more such programmes on coming days with same enthusiasm.

To celebrate women all over the world of all ages and races,this International Women’s Day i.e. 8th March 2020 themed as “An equal world is an enabled world” we , The warriors are organizing a school campaign to educate children about touch (being good touch and bad touch). Bad touch is a way of sexual harassment and most small children aren’t aware of differentiating good and bad touch. Having heard of many prevalent cases of children being abused, this program is an initiative to educate and create awareness among children about sexual harassment.
