Campus is the only government recognized campus in four Districts (Terhathum, Taplejung,Panchathar and Sangkhuwasava) of far eastern region of Nepal.To get quality education please join with us. It lies in the Terhathum district within the hilly area of Koshi Zone. The Aathrai Zone, where the Campus lies, is known as specific area for educational, political, cultural and historical development.
Terhathum Multiple Campus ( TMC ) was established in 2017- 02 - 21 as the name of Birendra Inter
College. It got permanent acceptance letter in 2018-06-03 B.S. .Later in 2035 Bhadra the Campus changed its name as Terhathum Campus. far from the newly built Puspalal Lok Marga. The Campus is located at the middle of Taplejung, Panchthar, Sankhuwasabha and Terhathum districts which is known as Limbuwan Region. It means most of the people who lived here are within Limbu community. Although there is ethnic and cultural diversity, there is full of cultural and social harmony. The economic condition of the people is mostly poor and some of them are within middle class. Their earning aspect is mostly related to agricultural products. There are two faculties in this Campus- Education, and Humanities and Social Sciences. are run under Education Faculty on English Education, Nepali Education, Mathematics Education, Population Education and Health and Physical Education as specialization subjects. There are 7 major subjects under Humanities faculty- English, Nepali, Mathematics, Population, Political Science, Economics, and History. In this Campus sufficient scholarship and freeship programmes are provided for the students. There are 23 teaching staffs and 14 administrative staffs in this Campus
The Catchments Area of the Campus :
The Campus lies at the rural area of Terhathum district, which is outside and very far from district headquarter, Myanglung . The main catchment area of TMC is surrounding districts and the same district Terhathum. Most of the students come to study in this Campus from western part of the Terhathum, Panchthar , and south-eastern part of Sankhuwasabha . The area covers near about 25 Higher Secondary Schools. Those Schools produce students mainly under Education and Humanities and Social Sciences subjects.
