Investing in school leadership to create learning opportunities for every child.

Under the Learning Champion project, Head Teachers' Training was conducted in both Rambha RM and Kanchan RM where 52 headteachers participated. The training provided an opportunity for head teachers to reflect on their roles, exchange experiences, and enhance their skills in instructional leadership, school improvement planning, and creating supportive learning environments.

This initiative contributes to improved educational opportunities and helps schools better support girls to stay in and return to education.

Together, we are working towards schools that are more inclusive, responsive, and supportive of every child's right to learn.

Starting Again: Usha’s Journey Back to Education

“I used to think my studies had ended forever.”

Usha from Rambha Rural Municipality, Palpa, left school at a young age after marriage and the responsibilities of family life. As a mother, her days became centered around household work and caring for her daughter, while her dream of continuing education slowly faded away.

During the project’s outreach to identify girls who had left school, staff members reached her home and connected her with the Dignity Center. The experience encouraged her to believe that she could continue her education again.

With support from her husband, Usha restarted her studies from Grade 11 after years away from school. Despite the challenges of balancing motherhood and education, she successfully completed Grade 12 and has now joined her Bachelor’s education with the goal of becoming a teacher.

Today, both mother and daughter go to school: her journey reflects determination, second chances, and the importance of continuing education.
