Greetings 🙏 , we are delighted to invite you all to our third MRI webinar featuring Yashawant Kumar Yadav, a distinguished Medical Imaging Technologist and clinical researcher.

Title: "Image Formation in MRI"

In this webinar, the speaker will walk us through the journey of the MR image formation by elaborating the fundamental principles of signal generation, exploring how gradient magnetic fields manipulate proton spins within the main magnetic field.
He will focus on the mechanism that assigns 3D spatial coordinates to the received signal by the application of magnetic field gradients; Slice Selection to isolate the imaging plane, followed by Phase Encoding and Frequency Encoding to map the signal along orthogonal axes.
Finally, he will demystify the concept of K-space and clarify how raw encoded data is converted into the clinically viewable MRI images used in modern diagnostics.

Moderator: Asst. Prof. Sweta Joshi

Q/A Session: Asst. Prof. Manojzz Bhatta and Mr. Anjan Dangal
