Planning to apply for an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s (EMJM) and looking for clear, reliable guidance?
The EMA Ability Inclusion Unit is organizing a global online information session focused on the EMJM application process, available support mechanisms, and most importantly accessibility and inclusion.

This session especially encourages students with disabilities or special needs to participate and will highlight accessibility considerations, inclusive practices, and lived experiences to help applicants navigate the process with confidence.

After our recent poll and Q&A, many of the aspiring students shared the same concern:
“Do I need IELTS/TOEFL, or will a Medium of Instruction (MOI) certificate that states my degree was taught in English be enough?”
The short answer → It depends on the program.
There is no one-rule-fits-all for English requirements in Erasmus Mundus.
Some programs accept MOI, but only if they explicitly state it. Many STEM/technical EMJMDs do NOT accept MOI, especially from non-English-speaking countries. Most programs still require IELTS/TOEFL.

To help you understand the differences, we’ve shared real examples from different EMJMD programs ; each with a different policy on MOI and test requirements.

To mark Human Rights Day on 10 December, the Delegation of the European Union to Nepal proudly launches “Youth Talk: Catalysts for Human Rights”.
The Youth Talk is a platform to spotlight young Nepalis who are actively building resilient, inclusive, and democratic societies through their commitment to human rights and civic engagement.
If you are a young Nepali (aged 18-35) and are actively working toward Human Rights, Democracy, or Civic Engagement, we invite you to share your story in a 3-minute video and send it to us.

Selected finalists will:
✅ Receive expert guidance on storytelling for public presentation
✅ Present their story live on Human Rights Day
✅ Be featured in a YouTube Series by the EU Delegation
