GoldenGate Chess Club established in 2012 is a Chess Club based on GoldenGate International College, Battisputali, Kathmandu. Our patrons are reputed sports Leader. We have worked with many organizations and have organized and coordinated various tournaments and several chess-related events. We as a club focuses on the overall development of a person. Our Objectives:
1. To establish GoldenGate Ch
ess Club as one of the leading clubs at the National Level.
2. To promote the skills of students from college level to national as well as international level.
3. To provide a stage for students to involve in Chess at leisure time.
4. To upgrade the level of existing Chess players and to provide a chance to learn Chess for beginners.
5. To develop the attitude of sportsmanship and co-operation among students through chess. GoldenGate Chess Club will:
1. Provide training to chess club members by National Champions.
2. Conduct training classes on public holidays ( Time will be informed later on)
3. Conduct practice matches among the members from time to time to improve their skills and raise their confidence level.
4. Organize Intra-College Chess Tournament in near future but only chess club members can participate in it.
5. Provide the chance to participate in National level chess competitions if done better at the college level and during chess training.
