Your Study Options and University Details 🏫
1. University of the West of Scotland (UWS)
Main Campus
Eligibility: If you graduated in 2021 or later with a GPA of 3.0 or 60%, you can qualify without IELTS or an interview.
Fees: £13,500 per year. A 50% payment is required before receiving your Pre-CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies).
Outside Campus
Eligibility: For students studying at non-main campuses, two interviews are required (Screening and Pre-CAS).
Fees: £14,000 per year.
For Diploma Students
Requirements: ELLT or any recognized English language test is required. Programs include 2-year bachelor’s degrees.
2. Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU)
Location: Liverpool, known for its vibrant student life and culture.
Eligibility:
PTE score of 51 or IELTS score of 5.5 in each band.
Academic requirement of a GPA of 2.4.
Gap of 5-7 years is acceptable.
Fees: Bachelor’s programs at £10,500, with no interview required for admission.
3. University of Huddersfield
Eligibility:
PTE score of 51 or IELTS score of 5.5 in each band.
Academic requirement of a GPA of 2.4.
A gap of 5-7 years is accepted with no interview.
Fees:
Bachelor’s programs start at £12,250.
Pre-Master’s programs are available at £6,250, and Master’s programs are £13,000.
Alternative English Requirements: Students with a GPA of 2.6 to 2.8 and B or 60% in English may qualify without IELTS/PTE if they have less than a 5-year gap.
Other Popular Universities with Special Options
University of East London – Fees: £12,300, with an initial £1,500 deposit before interview.
Coventry University – Fees: £11,800, with a £4,000 deposit before interview.
University of Roehampton
For a 3.0 GPA, fees are £11,250; for 2.8 GPA, fees are £12,750.
No initial deposit required.
University College Birmingham – Fees: £13,500 for a GPA of 2.8.
University of Wolverhampton – Fees: £13,500 for a GPA of 2.2.
University of West London
Duolingo Requirements: 110/95 scores.
Fees: £12,400 for Master’s and £13,500 for Bachelor’s programs.
York St. John University
Eligibility: IELTS score of 6.0 with no band below 5.5, or PTE score of 59.
Fees: £11,300.
Application and Visa Processing Steps 📝
Step 1: Documents Needed for Offer Letter
All academic transcripts and certificates.
Passport.
Two letters of recommendation.
Proof of English language proficiency (IELTS/PTE/ELLT/Duolingo).
Work experience documentation (if applicable).
Updated CV.
Timeline: Offer letters are typically issued within 3–5 days (up to 10 working days).
Step 2: Interview
Depending on your selected university, interviews might be required.
Step 3: Fees Payment
Pay the required percentage of tuition fees before moving to the next step.
Step 4: Medical Check-Up
Step 5: Bank Loan or Financial Balance
Your bank account must hold the required balance for a minimum of 28 days.
Living Expenses: Approximate living expenses are as follows:
Outside London: £9,207 (around 17 lakhs).
Inside London: £12,006 (around 22 lakhs).
Example Calculation:
Tuition fees: £13,500
If you pay 60% upfront, remaining 40% (or £5,400) is added to living expenses.
Total required funds: £14,607 (equivalent to approximately Rs. 25,56,225 at an exchange rate of Rs. 175).
Loan Documentation Tips:
Use FD or Land as collateral.
For FD-based loans: Prabhu Bank (minimum balance of 50-60K).
For land-based loans: Kumari Bank (minimum balance of 30-35K).
