Our monthly library program, Ekadeshma, was filled with laughter, imagination, and theatre magic today. 🎭✨With theatre artist Kedar Shrestha, children explored acting, expression, movement, and storytelling through fun theatre-based activities.
Thank you to Kedar Shrestha for making this month’s Ekadeshma at the library so joyful and engaging, and heartfelt thanks to all the children, parents, and everyone who joined and supported today’s program.🥰

A small gesture that will make a big difference. 👶🛒
We are deeply grateful to a wonderful doctor couple Dr. Shrijana Singh & Dr. Amit Singh, who regularly visit our library with their two little ones. Yesterday, they donated a stroller, thoughtfully keeping in mind the many parents who come with toddlers. It’s acts like these that make our library more welcoming and inclusive for families. Thank you for your kindness and for being such a warm part of our community.

Just when we thought publishers had already sent so much support, today brought a truly pleasant surprise. 📚 A big box of books arrived from Book Art Nepal. A heartfelt thank you to Shanta Dahal ma'am and Sushan Shrestha sir for this thoughtful contribution. Shanta ma'am herself is a children’s author, whose work continues to enrich young readers with meaningful stories. This unexpected addition feels like a gentle reminder that this journey is being supported in ways we don’t always anticipate, but deeply appreciate.🥰

Thank you Kopila books for using Sarathi Nepal Children’s Library for organising your program. The publication brought together nine female children book authors to share drafts of their stories, soon to be published as a collection. They exchanged ideas, laughter, food, and a whole lot of inspiration. 🥰
We are also grateful to the three wonderful authors Prabha Bhattarai ma'm, Urmila Subedi ma'am and Sharma ma'am who donated their books to the library. 📚 And a special thank you to शान्ति सापकोटा ji for the sweet treat to celebrate a recent award🏆that you received. What a lovely gesture!
Moments like these remind us that this space is not only for children to read books, but also a vibrant platform to share, create, and grow together as a community. ❤️

What a beautiful day at the library today! 📚🎨
Our Ekadeshma program turned into a little world of stories, colors, and imagination, led by the incredibly talented artist and illustrator Krisha Tamrakar. From storytelling that had children completely hooked, to hands busy creating their very own mini art book, it was pure joy in motion. And the best part? That little book, filled with big ideas, will now be proudly displayed at the library. A small reminder of how magical children’s creativity can be.
A big thank you to all the wonderful parents for your trust and support, to Krisha for sharing her magic with us, and of course, to our amazing children. It was fun, it was a little tiring (the best kind!), and it was absolutely worth it. Already looking forward to the next one!
