The Light That Leads 🌿: Guru

On this sacred day of Guru Purnima, we bow in deep reverence to the teachers, mentors, and guides—our Gurus—who illuminate our path with the light of knowledge, wisdom, and truth.

A Guru, in essence, is the original leader—someone who removes darkness (Gu) and brings light (Ru). They don’t just inform, they transform. They awaken potential, build confidence, and inspire clarity.

Similarly, a true leader is not defined by position, but by purpose—to guide, uplift, and ignite growth in others. A leader, like a Guru, doesn’t walk ahead in pride, but walks beside in presence—listening, reflecting, encouraging.

Reading aloud to your child is incredibly beneficial for their overall development. It boosts cognitive skills, enhances vocabulary, and improves listening and speaking abilities. Emotionally, it helps children understand and empathize with different emotions. Academically, it lays a strong foundation for future success. Plus, it creates a special bonding time between parent and child. In today’s digital age, reading aloud is a valuable, enriching activity that limits screen time.
