Meet Privat Bizabishaka!
A rising senior at Dartmouth College majoring in Economics. Privat is a powerful cross-cultural collaborator, researcher, and innovator. His blend of economic expertise, field experience, and heartfelt dedication to change makes him an invaluable addition to the IRD team.

Meet Kriti Ghimire, a rising sophomore at Soka University of America. A passionate storyteller, a mindfulness meditation practitioner, and a mental health advocate who intends to explore the intersection of psychology, mindfulness, and her filming and photography skills.

Her commitment to storytelling, holistic wellbeing, and social transformation aligns beautifully with IRD’s mission, and we are excited to see the world through her lens. Welcome to the team, Kriti!

As we officially closed the application on May 24, we would like to thank everyone who took the time and effort to apply to the program. We acknowledge and appreciate the hard work you all put into preparing the different components of the application. It was definitely not an easy task.

We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Peak Potential, an initiative that mobilizes resources in Hong Kong to empower underprivileged youth in Nepal through sports. 🏐💪

Inspired by our school trip to Nepal and the incredible connections we made with local teens along the Annapurna Trail, we’re excited to work together to tackle resource gaps and create opportunities for children in disadvantaged mountain communities.

We are incredibly grateful for Peak Potential's support and look forward to making a lasting impact on the lives of children in underserved areas.

About Bidya:
Bidya is dedicated to educating girls in poverty who face socioeconomic barriers that prevent them from completing their education. By enrolling them in English medium or private schools, Bidya ensures that these girls receive full support—covering tuition, school supplies, and all educational expenses until they graduate from college.

Together, we aim to uplift and empower young minds, ensuring they have the opportunities they deserve. 💙📚

Successful Completion of the Free Dental Camp! 🦷✨

Our mission to bring healthcare to the community was a success in Panchakanya-1, Nuwakot! Over two days, hundreds of local residents benefited from free dental services. 💙

A huge thank you to Institute for Rural Development and Nepalese Society of Multidisciplinary Dentistry for making this possible! Grateful to the local ward leadership for their support in ensuring a smooth and impactful camp. 🙏
