Introducing Sunday Play at Varna Batika, a space where children are safe, loved and free.

A warm, engaging Sunday space for children with play, creativity, movement and connection.

Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Children may be dropped off and picked up at any time during program hours.

Age group: 2 - 9 year olds

Lunch and snacks will be provided by school.

A glimpse from Day 5 at Basanta Camp 🌸

Our final day was filled with laughter, play, and little moments to hold onto. From games and face painting to sand play, free play, and music, it was a joyful close to a beautiful week.

The children also added their colors and handprints to handmade paper, created thoughtfully over the week, and took these along as small souvenirs of their time here.

Another day filled with rhythm, creativity, and play.
The children enjoyed more music, hands-on crafts, and their familiar moments of sand play, songs, and rhymes.

Each day, they settle in a little more, exploring, expressing, and simply enjoying being.

A glimpse from Day 3 at Basanta Camp 🌸

Today unfolded with gentle exploration and creativity. The children spent time with clay, immersing themselves in its texture, kneading, shaping, and creating in their own way, from little balls to tiny rotis.

They also explored music through the pianica, along with our regular rhythm of sand play, rhymes, dance, and movement.

As the rain arrived, we slowly moved indoors, continuing with clay work and ending the day with joyful face painting and many smiles.

Today was all about exploring freely through painting, where children watched colors flow and blend into one another, creating their own little surprises.

Alongside that, there were playful games, stories woven into sand play, and moments of dance, movement, and rhymes.

From colorful face painting to joyful sand play, dancing, and rhymes, today was filled with laughter and creativity.
The children also explored making their own dough using recycled carton boxes and created beautiful sculptures of butterflies, horses, and flowers.

We shared freshly prepared, nourishing snacks and lunch, and most importantly, many moments of connection and joy.

Days like these remind us how meaningful learning can be when it feels natural, playful, and full of discovery 💛
