We just finished wrapping up the 5-day Design Thinking workshop for Hult Prize at IOF. It was an amazing experience to work with awesome people and awesome ideas.
Some of our plans worked well, other times we learned. Thank you Anish Kshetri and Orga team for having our back during the workshop hours. Cheers to all the participants who trusted the process and worked on their project.
Wish you all best of luck!

During this pandemic, most of the people are locked-up in their house. While we are practicing social distancing, we are connected through the internet and social networks and our screen time is increasing. AR and VR have been around for a while and in this episode of exponent talk we want to explore
1. What are the possible industries and sectors being disrupted by AR, VR? What are the applications of these techs?
2. How AR VR is changing how we connect, create content & share.
3. How is it affecting the entertainment, media, and creative sectors?

Hey Makers, National Innovation Center(NIC) has called for your design. There have been 3 deaths already because of COVID-19. What followed was people's hesitation to transport the deceased for Cremation. NIC has called for solutions that can be used to transport the dead bodies to the crematory in the safest way possible. There is also a prize for the best design.

We had a really interesting discussion today in Maker Meetup.
Is it really important to "do something" during the lockdown? What is effective for learning webinars or youtube videos? Is education in Nepal irrelevant?
These were some of the questions discussed. Lets us know in the comments, what you think!
See you in the next meetup!

In these desperate times, we all are worried about how the situation will go. The least we can do from our part is not spreading in yet another pandemic of Fake news.
1. Follow only credible news and information sources.
-- WHO: https://www.who.int/emergencies/diseases/novel-coronavirus-2019
-- UNICEF: https://www.unicef.org/coronavirus/covid-19
-- Health Ministry: https://heoc.mohp.gov.np/.
2. Do not share everything you see on the Internet. Use bit of your judgment and common sense before you share that blog post.
3. If you really feel the Information might be helpful for others, first verify the information from credible sources.
Don't spread fake news. Spread love, spread gratitude.
and Stay safe! - Makervalley
