To celebrate the 16th Foundation Day of Imperial World School, our IWS family came together for a memorable retreat at Sunkoshi Beach Resort as a token of appreciation for the dedication, hard work, and commitment of our entire school team.
The retreat was filled with joy, bonding, laughter, and unforgettable experiences. One of the major highlights of the celebration was the exciting river rafting adventure in the Bhotekoshi River, where our team strengthened trust, teamwork, connection, and collaboration while creating lifelong memories together.
Beyond celebration, the retreat reflected the spirit of unity and the strong relationships that continue to make the IWS family stronger every year.

Our students embarked on a meaningful learning journey through the Entry Point activity, Vanishing Rainforest. Working collaboratively, they created a vibrant rainforest filled with plants, animals, and lifeโshowcasing creativity, teamwork, and a growing understanding of nature and ecosystems.
The experience took an emotional turn when students returned to find their rainforest โdestroyed.โ Their reactions were heartfeltโsadness, shock, concern, and curiosity quickly transformed into thoughtful discussions about real-world environmental challenges such as deforestation, pollution, habitat destruction, and natural disasters.
Through this powerful activity, students not only explored environmental issues but also developed empathy, critical thinking, and a sense of responsibility towards protecting our planet.
