Blossom-Buds Fuelled by the desire to give something back to the society/country we were born and brought up in, the idea of Blossom-Buds was conceived nearly 2 years back.

Initially we named the attempt, “HAPPY FEET” and commenced few fund raising activities. Now we are “BLOSSOM- BUDS” due to various website issues. Nevertheless we still have the vision we had 2 years ago and are adamant about materialising it. Blossom-Buds simply aims to do its bit for our less-fortunate fellow citizens mainly the children. We don’t have complicated and overly ambitious vision. In

an era when we can’t survive a day without our smart phones, there are less-fortunate ones for whom basics like clean drinking water, electricity and a good education are a thing of luxury. We simply want to make sure the young minds get access to these basics at least. After all, The Child is the father of the Man. Dear All,
Everybody can be great because anybody can serve. All we need is a heart full of grace. Our first project is for the school named Mahendra Dev Secondary School which is situated in Lamjung district of Nepal. The area has recently got access to electricity and the school needs a wiring circuit for electricity so that the students can have access to audio-visual equipments and be familiar with modern techniques and technology.This without a doubt will make huge difference to all the students who have never had these facilities before.The school needs £1000 (Rs.1lakh) for this whole project. So far we have managed to raise only a quarter of the total amount and we are hoping to raise the remaining amount through your support. We would like you all to help us by engaging in various projects and activities we have planned in the upcoming days. This very project (Lamjung Project) was completed last december(2011). We are very grateful to all the contributors without your support our first project would not have been successful. Please continue to support us as we are still raising money to fund Scholarships to underprivileged children for their higher education in Nepal. Heaps of thanks to MISSUKNEPAL BEAUTY WITH PURPOSE 2014 team for organising charity event for Maiti Nepal and presenting Blossom-Buds team with "certificate of appreciation" !
Looking back now In the year 2012 after successful charity gig in Camden where we managed to raise Rs.1,20,110.41 for Maiti nepal it was a proud moment for us to accept this certificate. Hope many more youths will be involved in bringing positive changes in future. And on the same time many congratulations to other groups who was presented with the certificates including Heartbeat UK who we are really close with. Heartbeat is organisation that empowers the youths to help street kids of Nepal.

I was lucky to be invited by juju dai founder of heartbeat nepal to b part of their tea distribution they do every Tuesday for homeless and street kids. The pictures are taken at the heartbeat office which is also day care centre for street kids. This place is open for all kids and they can come there read books, paint, use computers and talk and most importantly get a sense of belongingness which they can't in the streets. Everything you see in the pictures like pc, shelves,books,furnitures are donated by people.
At the moment Heartbeat are trying to get donors who can contribute certain amount every month as they are working on building night care centre. So may I request all of you to take a moment and go through their page and if you can help them.

Our second charity gig to raise funds for the needed back home in Nepal ..... Thank U all for coming ! We will continue doing more charity events just please don't stop loving us and giving us ur supports ....The raised funds for this year will benefit the organisation called HEARTBEAT who are working to provide night shelter for the street kids of KTM and our own scholarship programme for the Mahendra Dev school.

We are very happy to share the total amount raised on our recent tihar special gig ! THE TOTAL FUNDS RAISED IS £1,400 ..... BIG SHOUT out to all our amazing PERFORMERS / FRIENDS and each individual who came down to support us ..... The raised funds will support HEARTBEAT who works for street kids and will provide blossom-buds scholarship to under previliged kids of Mahendra Dev school of Lamjung. U all are a big part of it to make it successful !!! Please do keep on supporting us in future :)
