Most people using AI are prompting badly, and blaming the model.

The gap between “this is magic” and “this is useless” is almost entirely craft. Our new mini course, Prompt Engineering, teaches exactly that. For anyone who writes prompts, no coding required, and it works with any model.

Five chapters, twenty-five sections, a quiz in each, with real Nepal-flavoured examples: Khalti, Bhat Bhateni receipts, English to Nepali translation, Kathmandu news.

Certificate on completion. Free, forever. Currently in English.

Most people who say “ChatGPT isn’t useful for my work” have been writing two-line prompts and being disappointed by the result.

Generative AI is genuinely useful — but only if you understand what it is doing and where it breaks. So we put together a plain-language guide, Generative AI in Practice:

— What the model actually does, underneath the chat
— The five parts of a prompt that works
— Where it is strong, and where it confidently invents
— When not to reach for it at all

No hype, no jargon, just real Nepali examples.

You have already used AI today. You probably did not notice.

When Khalti flags a transaction, when Pathao suggests a route through Naxal, when your phone reads Nepali text off a sign in Asan, that is AI. Not magic, not a thinking machine. Pattern-matching, at scale, on data.

We have published a short, plain-language excerpt from the Introduction to AI course at AI Literacy Nepal. It covers what AI actually is, why “intelligence” is the wrong word for it, and the four questions — work, fairness, language, sovereignty — that Nepal will have to answer for itself.

No hype. No jargon. Built for people who will use AI here, not just read about it.
