Australia’s latest offshore student visa grant data up to March 2026 shows a serious warning sign for Nepalese students.

📌 Nepal Primary Applicant Grant Rate: 25.4%
📌 Nepal Grand Total Grant Rate: 27.7%

This means only around 1 in 4 Nepalese offshore student visa applicants received a visa grant in March 2026.

This is not just a one-month issue. The trend is now very clear.

🎓 Nepal Sector-Wise Grant Rates – March 2026

✅ Schools Sector: 100%
🟡 Postgraduate Research: 55.0%
🟠 Higher Education: 26.7%
🔴 VET: 7.2%
🔴 Independent ELICOS: 0.0%

The biggest concern for Nepal is the sharp fall in Higher Education outcomes.
