🇦🇺 Australia Announces International Student Settings for 2027
The Australian Government has confirmed that the National Planning Level (NPL) will remain at 295,000 international student commencements in 2027, maintaining the same level as 2026 and providing greater certainty for students and education providers.
Key highlights: ✅ No reduction in the 2027 allocation. ✅ Student and Temporary Graduate visa application fees will increase by 25%. ✅ Reduced visa fees will continue for Pacific and Timor-Leste students and now also apply to ASEAN students, ELICOS, and non-award courses. ✅ Australia remains committed to welcoming genuine international students while strengthening the quality, integrity, and sustainability of its education sector.
This is a positive signal for students planning to study in Australia and for education providers preparing for the 2027 intake.
