Pharmacognosy field tour!

Our B.Pharm 1st and 3rd semester students recently visited the Plant Resources Office and Dhitachaur Plant Garden in Jumla as part of a pharmacognosy field tour.

This educational visit aimed to bridge classroom theory with real-world observation, allowing students to explore medicinal plants in their natural habitat. The experience provided valuable hands-on learning in plant identification, ethnomedicinal uses, and conservation practices.

Faculty members of the Pharmacy School and botanist Susmita Chaudhary assisted throughout the learning process.

Our first batch of B. Pharmacy students achieved a 100% pass rate in the Nepal Pharmacy Council Examination. They are now registered pharmacists and will be serving across Nepal wherever the government assigns them, as all are government scholarship students.
