We are delighted to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our talented student-athletes, Binisha Rai (Class 6) and Shristi Pandit (Class 7), in Taekwondo. 🇳🇵✨

🥇 Binisha Rai – Class 6 | Gold Medal
Binisha secured 1st Position (Gold Medal) at the 1st Godawari Mayor Cup Open Valley Taekwondo Championship 2083, bringing great pride to our school.

🥉 Binisha also achieved an incredible Third Position (Bronze Medal) at the prestigious 9th Heroes International Taekwondo Championship 2026, held in Pattaya, Thailand. Competing at the international level, she demonstrated remarkable discipline, determination, confidence, and sportsmanship.

🥈 Shristi Pandit – Class 7 | Silver Medal
Shristi Pandit secured 2nd Position (Silver Medal) at the 1st Godawari Mayor Cup Open Valley Taekwondo Championship 2083, showcasing her dedication, confidence, and excellent performance.

In recognition of Binisha Rai’s remarkable international achievement, Velvet English Secondary School honored Binisha and her parents with a Rs. 3,000 cash prize, a certificate, and a traditional khada as a token of appreciation and encouragement.

These achievements reflect the students’ hard work, discipline, dedication, and determination, supported by the valuable guidance of their coaches and continuous encouragement from their parents.
