Nubri Hinang Thrangu Family Pungen Pilgrimage
~ On 29 June 2026, the Nubri Hinang Thrangu family set out on a sacred pilgrimage to Pungen. We arrived at Pungen at 3:00 PM and were blessed to reach this holy place safely. After arriving, we paid our respects, offered prayers, and prepared ourselves for the spiritual practices that would follow. The peaceful environment and magnificent mountain landscape inspired devotion and gratitude in all of us.

30 June 2026
Early the morning, we began the mountain pilgrimage route. Walking together through the sacred landscape, we recited prayers and mantras while making aspirations for the benefit of all sentient beings. The pilgrimage strengthened our faith, deepened our connection to the Dharma, and reminded us of the precious teachings of the Buddha and the lineage masters. Although the journey was physically challenging, everyone completed it with determination, joy, and devotion.

~ On the morning of 1 July 2026, we gathered to perform the Guru Rinpoche Tsok Offering and Sang Puja with sincere faith and devotion. After completing the morning prayers, we continued our pilgrimage by visiting Dorje Phagmo’s Blessed Water and the sacred Seven Lakes pilgrimage route to receive their blessings. We offered prayers, made aspirations, and paid our respects at these holy sites, praying for the purification of negative karma, the accumulation of merit, and the well-being of all sentient beings.

Every evening during our pilgrimage, we performed Mahakala Puja, offering heartfelt prayers for the protection of all practitioners and for the success of virtuous activities. We also continuously offered prayers for the swift return of our most beloved and respected Very Venerable Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche, making aspirations that his enlightened activities may continue to benefit countless beings without interruption.

Throughout the pilgrimage, we maintained harmony, supported one another, and shared the joy of practicing together. The experience strengthened our unity as a Dharma family and renewed our commitment to compassion, wisdom, and the teachings of our precious lineage.

~ On 2 July 2026, after successfully completing all the pilgrimage activities, prayers, and offerings, we departed from Pungen and returned safely to our monastery. We carried home many precious memories, blessings, and renewed inspiration for our Dharma practice. We dedicate all the merit accumulated during this pilgrimage to the long life of all authentic spiritual masters, the flourishing of the Buddha Dharma, world peace, and the happiness and liberation of all sentient beings.

The rainy season has started here, bringing fresh greenery and a cool, refreshing atmosphere to the valley. During this time, the local people are busy with potato farming. Families work together in the fields, preparing the soil, planting seed potatoes, and caring for their crops. Watching their hard work gave me a deeper appreciation for the simple yet meaningful lifestyle of the mountain communities. The rainy season not only nourishes the land but also marks the beginning of an important farming season for the people here.

In Remembrance of Our Beloved Lama
Today 31st May 2026, marks the third anniversary of the parinirvana of The Lord of Refuge, the Very Venerable 9th Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche, as well as the auspicious date of Buddha Shakyamuni’s birth, enlightenment, and parinirvana. To honour and remember our deeply kind Lama,We Nubri Hinang Thrangu Tashi Choling Monastery Members gathered for a Milarepa Guru Yoga at morning and practice of Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche’s Guru Yoga, Butter lamp monlam and offer heartfelt prayers and aspirations for Rinpoche’s swift rebirth for the benefit of all sentient beings.

May his enlightened activity shine once again throughout the world,
And may countless beings continue to benefit from his boundless wisdom and compassion.

In May 2026, two teachers, Ms. Sonam Yangchen and Ms. Tsering Yangchen, who completed their education at Shree Mangal Dvip Boarding School are arrived safely at Nubri Hinang Thrangu Tashi Choling Monastery in Nubri Valley, where they were warmly welcomed.
At the same time, the senior former teacher, Mr. Pema Tsewang, was preparing to return to Kathmandu. As an expression of gratitude and appreciation for his service, the principal Lhopon Karma Nyidha, together with the teachers and young monks of the monastery, gathered in the temple hall.
First, Principal Lhopon Karma Nyidha addressed the teachers with greetings and gave advice to the young monks, encouraging them to study diligently, maintain dedication toward the monastery, and uphold good conduct and discipline.
After that, Mr. Pema Tsewang also offered guidance to the young monk students, emphasizing the importance of proper study and education. He further mentioned that, compared with others, the young monks of this monastery possess particularly good manners and behavior.
Finally, as a symbol of gratitude and appreciation toward him, the administrators, teachers, and all the young monks presented him with pure white ceremonial scarves (khatas) and other offerings.
We also prayed and expressed our good wishes that whatever studies or activities he undertakes in the future may be successful and accomplished smoothly.

࿑ ཚེས་བཅུའི་ཉིན་སྔ་དྲོའི་ཆ་ལ་༧ཆོས་རྗེ་བླ་མ་དབང་ཕྱུག་སྟོབས་ལྡན་མཆོག་དང་། ༧མཆོག་སྤྲུལ་ཀརྨ་དམ་ཆོས་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་རྣམ་གཉིས་དབུས་པས་སྐུ་གདུང་མཆོད་རྟེན་རབ་གནས་ལེགས་པར་མཛད་ཅིང་། དེ་བཞིན་༧ཆོས་རྗེ་བླ་མ་དབང་ཕྱུག་སྟོབས་ལྡན་མཆོག་ལ་འདི་གའི་འདུས་སྤྱི་ནས་ཇི་ལྟར་གསོལ་བ་བཏབ་པ་བཞིན་སེར་སྐྱ་མི་མང་ཡོངས་ལ་༧ སྐྱབས་རྗེ་མཁན་ཆེན་ཁྲ་འགུ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་མཆོག་གིས་མཛད་པའི་རྡོ་རྗེ་འཆང་ཐུང་མའི་འགྲེལ་བཤད་ཐར་པའི་ལམ་སྟོན་དང་། རྡོ་རྗེ་འཆང་ཐུང་མའི་འགྲེལ་པ་ཕལ་སྐད་དུ་བཀྲལ་བ་ལྗགས་ལུང་དང་བཀའ་སློབ་ལམ་སྟོན་སོགས་གནང་།

དེ་ནས་རབ་གནས་ལེགས་པར་གྲུབ་པའི་བཀྲ་ཤིས་པའི་རྟེན་འབྲེལ་གྱི་དགའ་སྟོན་ལ་འདི་ག་དགོན་པའི་འདུས་སྤྱི་ནས་སྐུ་དྲིན་གཏང་རག་མཚོན་བྱེད་དུ་སྐུ་གདུང་མཆོད་རྟེན་རིན་པོ་ཆེར་མཎྜལ་སྐུ་གསུང་ཐུགས་རྟེན་དང་། རིན་པོ་ཆེ་རྣམ་གཉིས་གཙོས་པའི་དགེ་འདུན་པ་རྣམས་ལ་ཐུགས་རྗེ་ལེགས་འབུལ་མཚོན་བྱེད་དུ་དར་དཀར་དྲི་མ་མེད་པའི་མཇལ་དར་དང་བཅས་སྐུ་འགྱེད་སོགས་ཟབ་རྒྱས་འབུལ་ལམ་ཞུས།

࿐སྤྱི་ལོ་2026 ལོའི་བོད་ཚེས་གསུམ་གྱི་སྔ་དྲོའི་ཆ་ལ་ཀ་ཋ་མན་ཌུ་རྒྱལ་ས་ནས་༧ ཆོས་རྗེ་བླ་མ་དབང་ཕྱུག་སྟོབས་ལྡན་མཆོག་དང་། མཆོག་སྤྲུལ་ཀརྨ་དམ་ཆོས་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་རྣམ་གཉིས་ནུབ་རི་ཧི་ནང་དུ་ཆིབས་བསྒྱུར་བསྐྱངས་ཏེ་དགེ་འདུན་འདུས་པ་རྒྱ་མཚོ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་སེར་སྦྲེང་དང་དྲི་བཟང་བདུག་སྤོས་ཀྱིས་ནམ་མཁའ་བཀང་སྟེ་ལྷ་ཁང་ནང་དུ་སྤྱན་དྲངས་ཤིང་སྣང་གསལ་མར་མེའི་འོད་སྣང་སྤྲོས།
དེ་ནས་དཔལ་འཇིག་རྟེན་དབང་ཕྱུག་རྒྱལ་བ་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་མ་ཎི་དུང་སྒྲུབ་ཉིན་དང་པོ་དབུ་ཚུགས་པ་ལགས་སོ། །ཉིན་དང་པོའི་མ་ཎིའི་གྲངས་ཐོ་ནི། དྲུག་འབུམ་བཞི་ཁྲི་བདུན་སྟོང་དགུ་བརྒྱ་ལྔབཅུ། (6,47,950) བཅས་གྲུབ་པས། འདི་ཡི་མཐུས་ཡངས་པའི་རྒྱལ་ཁམས་ཀུན་ལ་བདེ་སྐྱིད་ཀྱི་ཉི་མ་རྟག་ཏུ་འཆར་བར་ཤོག།

In the morning of the 3rd day of the Tibetan month in the year 2026, from the capital city of Kathmandu, Ven. Chöje Lama Wangchuk Tobden and Choktrul Karma Damcho Rinpoche traveled to Nubri Hinang. There, a vast gathering of the Sangha welcomed them with ceremonial processions, fragrant incense filling the sky, and respectfully escorted them into the temple, where the radiant light of butter lamps was offered.

After that, the first day of the Mani Dungdrub prayer gathering of the glorious Lord of the World, Gyalwa Gyamtso, officially began.

The total count of Mani recitations on the first day was: 647,950.
