Representatives from CMC, Hostel Administration, and SWS conducted an inspection of Mess No. 4, 5, 6, and 7 to address student concerns and ensure better mess management.

Mess No. 6:
Overpricing issue identified
— The Mess Owner was cautioned and instructed to revise prices appropriately.

Mess No. 5:
Repetition of vegetables in meals
— The Mess Owner was advised to diversify the menu.

Mess No. 4:
Complaint regarding rude behavior
— The Mess Owner was counseled to maintain respectful conduct toward students.

Mess No. 7:
Delay in fee payments
— Students are requested to clear their pending dues promptly to support smooth mess operations.

On August 31, 2025,
The Central Mess Committee conducted inspections of Mess No. 3, 4, and 7. The inspection team, led by the Vice Chairperson and Secretary of the Central Mess Committee (in the absence of the Inspection Head), along with representatives from the Students' Welfare Society,
noted the following concerns:
- Hygiene and Cleanliness
- Unpaid Student Dues
We have urged the mess management to improve hygiene and cleanliness. Additionally, we would like to request all students to kindly pay their mess dues promptly.

On 27th August
A sudden inspection was conducted today at Hostel Mess No. 8 & 9 under the leadership of the Chairperson and Inspection Head of CMC with representative members of CMC and SWS. The visit focused on food quality, hygiene and overall management.

Students are welcomed to share feedback and suggestions through message to help us improve.

On 5th August, we conducted a sudden inspection at Hostel Mess No. 5 & 6 after receiving several complaints from students. The concerns have been noted, and necessary actions will be taken to ensure better food quality and hygiene.

On 30th July,2025 an inspection team comprising of SWS representatives and the representatives from Central Mess Committee conducted a surprise inspection to mess number 3,4 and 7.Various issues relating to mess owners and students were identified and a detailed report has been submitted by the Inspection Head. As a team, we are united in our commitment to tackle these challenges head-on and bring about sustainable improvement.

NOTICE!!!

This is to inform all students regarding the mess to follow these rules strictly:

1. Write Proper Details in the Khata:
- When writing in the khata, mention the amount of money and the name of the goods/services clearly. Avoid overwriting as much as possible

2. Do Not Take Utensils Outside the Mess:
- Taking utensils (plates, glasses, spoons, etc.) to your rooms or outside the mess is not allowed.

3. Pay Your Mess Dues on Time:
- Ensure your mess dues are paid regularly and on time to avoid inconvenience.

Please cooperate to maintain order and proper functioning of the mess.

A team led by Chief Hostel Warden Dr Shumsher Shrestha , Hostel Warden Dr Priza Subedi, SWS president Nawaraj Dev,SWS VP Kantipur Bastola, SWS VP Sadikshya Neupane ,Mess committee Chairperson Dr Sidhhartha shah, Treasurer Parkriti Neupane along with General Members from SWS and Mess Committee conducted the Surprise Inspection in Mess no. 8, Mess no. 5 and Mess no. 9.
Various issues of students and mess owners and their possible solutions were discussed.
