आत्मविश्वास बढाउन नानी बाबुहरूलाई यी यस्ता व्यवहारबाट टाढा राख्नुहोस्।
१. जिम्मेवारी नदिने
सबै काम आफैँ गरिदिँदा बच्चा आत्मनिर्भर बन्न सक्दैन। उमेर अनुसार साना-तिना कामको जिम्मेवारी दिनुहोस्।
२. अधूरा सपना थोपर्ने
आफ्नो चाहना नलाद्नुहोस्। बच्चाको आफ्नै रुचि र क्षमता पहिचान गरी प्रोत्साहन गर्नुहोस्।
३. समय नदिने
"व्यस्त छु" भनेर बेवास्ता गर्दा बच्चा गलत बाटोमा लाग्न सक्छ। दैनिक कुराकानीका लागि समय निकाल्नुहोस्।
४. अरूका अगाडि अपमान गर्ने
सबैका अगाडि हप्काउँदा आत्मसम्मान घट्छ र झूट बोल्ने बानी बस्छ। गल्ती सम्झाउनु परे एकान्तमा भन्नुहोस्।
५. मोबाइल वा सामानले फकाउने
सजिलै सुविधा दिँदा बच्चाले मिहिनेत र धैर्यको कदर गर्न बिर्सिन्छ।
६. अङ्क र नतिजा मात्र हेर्ने
ग्रेडभन्दा सिक्ने प्रक्रिया महत्त्वपूर्ण हो। अङ्कको दबाबले बच्चामा असफलताको डर मात्र उत्पन्न गराउँछ।
७. कुरा नसुनी रिसाउने
कारण नबुझी हप्काउनुभन्दा पहिले बच्चाको कुरा सुन्ने र बुझ्ने वातावरण बनाउनुहोस्।
८. अरूसँग तुलना गर्ने
तुलनाले हीनभाव बढाउँछ। अरूसँग होइन, बच्चाको आफ्नै अघिल्लो प्रगतिसँग तुलना गर्नुहोस्।
९. सधैँ दोषी ठहराउने
लगातारको दोषारोपणले आत्मविश्वास गिराउँछ। गल्ती औँल्याउनुको सट्टा सच्याउन सिकाउनुहोस्।
१०. नकारात्मक शब्द प्रयोग गर्ने
"तिमीबाट केही हुँदैन" जस्ता शब्दले कमजोर बनाउँछन्। सधैँ सकारात्मक र प्रोत्साहनमूलक भाषा प्रयोग गर्नुहोस्।
