Raccoon Malware Developer Infected His System and Leaked His Own Data

An infostealer is stealing data from more than 60 browsers, cryptocurrency wallets and email clients.

The stealer has already infected more than a million devices since 2019. And in February of this year, the creator's computer was infected.

The data was compromised and made its way to Hudson Rock's Cavalier platform for tracking.

IP was changed to 1.1.1.1. Several email addresses were also found.

The data gathered indicated that the developer is Russian speaking.

In case the virus detects the system uses Russian, Ukrainian, Belarusian, Kazakh, Kyrgyz, Armenian, Tajik or Uzbek languages, it stops operating immediately.
