Nepal Injury Research Centre, Kathmandu Medical College Public Limited celebrated the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims (WDR) 2025 to commemorate the crash Victims at Kathmandu Medical College and the Eight Municipalities where we are having our Community Engagement and Involvement activities. Those municipalities are Banepa, Panauti, Galchi, Belkotgadhi, Ratnanagar, Kalika, Bakaiya, and Bhimphedi. As a united community, we have organized the Candlelight vigil program in all municipalities. This collective effort is a testament to our shared commitment to honour those affected by road crashes.
We acknowledge Safe and Sustainable Travel Nepal - SSTN for their support in organizing the activities in those municipalities.

Our journey of strengthening injury recording and reporting systems continues. We had an interactive workshop on the Daily Incident Reporting System (DIRS) with the police officers from the Police Headquarters in Nepal.

Meeting with the SAFETrIP Nepal Emergency Care Professional Engagement Group (ECPEG) members. This meeting serves as an excellent platform to share our experiences regarding transporting patients with road traffic injuries and their handover at emergency departments in hospitals across Nepal.
