Today Khadija Shaheen successfully defended her PhD thesis at NTNU.
The thesis is mostly based on 5 papers published with the IEEE Sensors Journal (1), IEEE Internet of Things Journal (2), IEEE Transactions on Signal and Information Processing (2), plus some conference papers.
Khadija is the fifth PhD graduate from the research group SPIN (established in 2020 at the Department of Electronic Systems, NTNU).

The paper “Failure Prediction in Manufacturing Processes via Kullback-Leibler Divergence” authored by Gianluca Tabella, Mohammed Ayalew Belay, Ismael Viejo, Maria Herrando, and Pierluigi Salvo Rossi has been accepted for publication with the IEEE Sensors Letters.
It is based on the activities within the project FLEX4FACT (funded by the European Union under the Horizon Europe research and innovation program) and is the result of a collaboration between NTNU, SINTEF Energy, and Instituto Tecnologico de Aragon.

Today Mohammed Ayalew Belay successfully defended his PhD thesis at NTNU.
The thesis is mostly based on 4 papers published with the IEEE Sensors Journal (2), IEEE Signal Processing Letters, and MDPI Sensors and 2 papers currently under review with IEEE Sensors Journal and IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, plus some conference papers.
Ayalew is the fourth PhD graduate from the research group SPIN (established in 2020 at the Department of Electronic Systems, NTNU).

It is based on the activities within the project Digital Twin (funded by the Research Council of Norway) and is the result of a fruitful collaboration between NTNU and SINTEF Energy.

It is based on the activities within the project SIGNIFY (funded by the Research Council of Norway) and builds upon the fruitful collaboration between the Dept. Electronic Systems at NTNU and the Dept. Gas Technology at SINTEF Energy on topics related to digitalization and energy solutions.

The thesis is mostly based on 5 papers published with the IEEE Sensors Journal, IEEE Internet of Things Journal (2), IEEE Communications Letters, and Elsevier Physical Communication plus 1 paper published with the IEEE Sensors Letters.
Asaad is the third PhD graduate from the research group SPIN (established in 2020 at the Department of Electronic Systems, NTNU).
