Stavanger Service Design Jam

A Stavanger chapter of the Global Service Jam, a 48-hour global challenge to collectively generate ideas and design prototypes around a secret theme.

Participants from all around the world will engage in a 48-hour challenge to collectively come up with innovative ideas around the secret theme. These ideas may take a form of a new product, service, software, campaign or anything else their creative minds will have to offer. The Jammers will have just one weekend to create their design concept, develop it, prototype it and present their final project. The Jam Facilitators will guide the teams to help them achieve their goals. The official language of the Stavanger Service Jam is English. This event largely appeals to people with business and design experience. Having said that, everyone regardless of their background is invited and encouraged to participate! We believe that the greatest diversity produces the most interesting results. Whether you are a designer, an artist, an entrepreneur, a teacher, a student or a homemaker, please join us at the Global Service Jam!

'The most innovative idea' at Stavanger Service Design Jam 2018 was awarded to team 'Åpen'. They will have the wonderful opportunity, kindly provided by Yoga for Alle: Donasjonsbaserte timer, to join the exciting Yoga & velvære weekend from 16 to 18 March (Stavanger) with their 'all inclusive gift cards'! Team 'Flink' won the award for 'the best developed prototype' at Stavanger Service Design Jam 2018. They will have the fantastic opportunity, kindly provided by Creator, of free one-month membership to their Makerspace (prototype-building workshop) and access to the Creator's community of innovators. Congrats!
