Honestly, it was quite an overwhelming experience for me this morning. I forgot how much I love it, and there is no doubt it a challenging journey awaits me, but I couldn't be more excited about it.

The weather is simply perfect 👌. Today the park is full of families 👨‍👩‍👦, and we cannot watch her and wonder. Was it that long time ago when we celebrated her personal milestones: crawling 🚩, standing 🚩, walking 🚩, running 🚩... Was it? How did it happen? When?! She is still our baby 👶, yet she is a tiny human who knows exactly what she wants and has her likes and dislikes. Oh, world, the time flies. ⌛

I captured a moment of Mia's first - non-stop running/ walking her three loops in the stadium. I followed my champ and watched other runners smile. A random family sitting on the bench cheered every time she ran past them. Mia, with a huge smile, waved back and kept going. Moments like these sink deep, teaching me not to take life so seriously. You can enjoy your journey and path while letting loose and laughing a little more.

Running, like walking, is a significant milestone for our little ones. Besides developing motor skills participation in the running helps teach them about the importance of perseverance and practice in building stamina. Building the habit of regular exercise early in life, particularly an activity that can be continued lifelong (like running) will be invaluable to long-term physical and mental health. So once we are done with kindergarten this summer, we will all work on building this lifelong habit. We will start slow, first on the weekends, then daily. Click "Follow" to support our journey.

What a quick getaway we had just before Easter. 🥰 it's just about 40 minutes out of Oslo. ☀🚘 We tried to take a couple of pictures, but they did not do justice. 📸 So, I highly recommend visiting Spro mine yourselves. ❤

The mine was closed back in the 1880s, but it was quite a popular place this Saturday. The weather was amazing, so we met quite a few hikers. There is a parking lot nearby, and it was an excellent 10 - 15 minutes hike down. It is challenging with a toddler but doable if you are prepared and take your time. There is a nice flat area to have a picnic and enjoy the fantastic view of Oslofjord. Once inside, it is worth going around the large stones mound to see the pond, the opening in the 'ceiling,' and follow the tunnel a little north to get out through a smaller entrance, a little further north of the main entrance. Definitely, from the outside, the northern mine entrance can be a little challenging to find.

All in all, we all loved it. Mia enjoyed it even though she didn't see the inside of the mine (too dangerous). The hike up was her favorite. It amazes me how good such a tiny human, still developing, is good at following directions and steps.

It all started with one of the crates. So, we have the tools; all I needed to get was some bleeding tissue papers. I found some on Amazon.co.uk.

Last Christmas Santa brought our newest family member, and none of us can imagine our life without it. ❤️🤖 Every day I am wondering, why we did not get it sooner? 🤷‍♀️4 adults, 1 toddler, and 2 dogs running around... I am wrapping the Christmas activity sets for Mia's friends at daycare.

They say, it is not common to give gifts here in Norway, but our idea of Christmas, whether old-fashioned or modern, is straightforward: loving others.

We are already counting the last days until our first day in kindergarten. We are excited and a bit anxious at the same time.

Who else is going crazy for this adorable unicorn 🦄 collection from ? It is a bit difficult to find all the pieces in one store here, yet I am trying :D We got these from jolyroom.no.

In our opinion:
*the backpack is nice and spacious.
*the water bottle is easy to use. Water does not drip out as easy other water bottles we have.
*the cry-activated soother - it is easy to hang it. To be honest, we find the music a bit boring and too quiet, especially when it comes to my voice-recorded message. It is so silent. It is impossible to hear when she cries. I would not repurchase it.
*We love the lunch box and the food thermos, yet we still need to learn how to open and close them. It is a bit of a challenge for us at the moment.
