We must reduce the competition between human food and animal fees by increasing the use of by-products and residues in animal feed. Research shows that we can increase the current global food supply by up to 13% in terms of kcal and 15% in terms of protein content. This is on our agenda working with our excellent feed suppliers.

Transforming our food system is not only about production, but the consumer side is also equally important.
For the desired increase in fish consumption, recipes for delicious and convenient dishes can work. The trigger is higher for seaweed, where most people need to learn how to prepare seaweed and kelp dishes, not at least how to gather seaweed and kelp along the shore and to clean it.

Cermaq Chile had a successful participation at the new Seafood Show in Sao Paulo which brings together the main fish producers in Latin America and has more than 70 exhibitors.
