This Sunday November 16th, 12 - 5pm I am having a workshop sale at Kroloftet. I am moving to a new workshop at Sagene. More on that later; sad to leave but excited for a change. Over the past (nearly) 3 years in Oslo I have tested a lot of new clays and designs, now it's time to clear out the samples and seconds at heavily reduced prices. Bartering encouraged:)

How many spouts can a jug have… 1, 2, 3, or perhaps 4? Well, come and find out at Kirkerista Kunsthåndverksmarked this Thursday - Saturday in central Oslo. I have cups, breakfast plates and bowls too, all with a pinch of sand - from Lake Tekapo in NZ and Hvasser in Norway, to Grindavik in Iceland + new vases.
This is an annual event with high quality handcrafted objects - this year 88 mostly Norwegian artists participate. Hope to see you there!
Kunsthåndverksmarkedet i Kirkeristen, 21-23 Aug 2025, Thurs/Fri 11-19, Sat 11-17.

Hello! Excited to have a small summer exhibition at Brudd Kunsthåndverk 19 - 26 June, in Grünerløkka, Oslo. If you’re in the neighbourhood, pop by for a glass of wine Thursday 19th June at 6pm to celebrate the opening, I’d love to see you there!
I'll be showing new sculptural vases in new clay colours, and my 'sand research' series, where I continue to add a pinch of sand to clay I've collected from different locations in New Zealand and now Norway, like Svalbard, Nakholmen, Huk and in the kiln right now, samples from Hvasser, and Devlebukta in Trondheim.
Brudd is a small artist run gallery featuring jewellery, glass and ceramics by artists based in the Oslo region. It’s been around for 40 years, a gem in the middle of Grünerløkka; Markveien 42, open Tues - Sat, 12 - 6pm.

2024 has zoomed by - without a single post! It’s been an eventful year, more on that another time - right now I want to share I’ve just become a member of the artist run gallery Brudd in Oslo. Thrilled. It’s a great little gallery in Grünerløkka. Tomorrow I'll be there 12 - 4pm, why don’t you come and explore my new I Love You teapot? …and many more ceramic, glass and jewellery treasures. But wait, there is more! We have opened a shop at Kroloftet, the studio where I work, open Thurs 12 - 7pm and Sat/Sun 12 - 5pm until Christmas, brimming with cool stuff made by creatives at Kroloftet. Arnljot Gellines Vei 41.

This week I’ll be part of two shows at once, literally on either side of the world. The creatures are back (and more) as part of ‘All Sorts’ this week at Thistle Hall, alongside a fabulous group of 8 potters/ceramic artists from Wellington and the Kapiti Coast. Summerstone Gallery in Paraparaumu looks after my work in New Zealand now, and included me in a fab line-up. On at Thistle Hall until Sunday August 13th: 11am - 7.30pm (Thurs/Fri) 10 - 4pm (Sat), 10 - 1.30 (Sun). You don’t want to miss it!
In Oslo I’m busy making for Kunsthåndverkmarkedet på Kirkerista, a big artist fair in the middle of Oslo August 17 - 19. It’s my first market in Norway, excited to see how my work will be received. I will have a range of small vases available and also little porcelain jugs with sand collected from local beaches (Huk, Ingierstrand, Opera stranda) ingrained in the clay. If you are in Oslo, please stop by for a chat! 11 - 19 (Thurs/Fri), 11 - 17 (Sat). Cheerio
