MASTER OF SCIENCE IN SUSTAINABLE MANUFACTURING WILL PROVIDE EXPERTISE WITHIN SUSTANABILITY IN MANUFACTURING. THE PROGRAM

This Master of Science program focuses on the need for increased knowledge of sustainable manufacturing:

• economic
• ecologic
• and social sustainability

for processes and products throughout their lifecycle. The manufacturing industry is on the brink of the fourth industrial revolution where new production methods, processes, products, and sustainability are important topics. The program has two tracks:
• Industry 4.0 - gives the students a broad understanding of organizational and technological challenges of the industrial revolution.

• Materials Processes - provide an in-depth understanding of materials used in sustainable manufacturing. You will gain in-depth knowledge about various theories and methods, enabling you to map the sustainability of production processes and products. During the two-year program, the students collaborate closely with industry, often as support in real research projects with companies. The close connection to research and manufacturing industry enhances your understanding of the challenges manufacturing faces and the expertise for the future. Scientists, engineers and managers from industry will complement the academic staff as guest lecturers. FULL-TIME OR PART-TIME STUDIES
