Laat geld rollen: New local circular finance models

Op 15 september 2018 is het tien jaar geleden dat de zakenbank uit de VS Lehman Brothers omviel. Het was het begin van de financiële crisis en de reddingsoperatie door de overheid kostte tientallen miljarden. Er zijn enkele maatregelen getroffen, maar de financiële sector is niet
wezenlijk veranderd en we zijn vrolijk op weg naar een volgende crisis. Op 14, 15 en 16 september vindt daarom het Alternative Finance Festival plaats om te laten zien dat het anders kan en moet.

Wij zouden het erg op prijs stellen als U aanwezig ben op het landelijke slot symposium op zondag 16 september in het Academiegebouw in Utrecht, met o.a Saskia Sassen, Ewald Engelen, George van Houts (de Verleiders), Cees Grimbergen, Arnoud Boot (SFL), Aerdt Houben (DNB) en vele anderen

Tijdens het slotdebat worden vijf voorstellen gepresenteerd voor een dienstbare financiële sector. De voorstellen worden ingebracht door FNV, SOMO, Milieudefensie, Tax Justice, Sustainable Finance Lab, Ons Geld, en TNI.
