🎻 A new academic year begins at the NSKA — and this one is a very special one.
The 2026–2027 season marks the 25th anniversary of the Netherlands String Quartet Academy, and we are excited to celebrate this milestone throughout the year with concerts, masterclasses, lectures and many special moments with our ensembles, students, alumni and teachers.
September already brings a full programme. From 26–30 September, we welcome Yovan Markovitch and Marc Danel of Quatuor Danel, together with Pierre Colombet of Quatuor Ébène, for a new masterclass with our ensembles. We look forward to sharing their experience and expertise with the next generation of string quartets.
As part of our Jubilee Season, we will also look back at the history of the Academy. On 21 September, NSKA founders Leo Samama & Stefan Metz will give an online lecture, The History of the NSKA, sharing the story of how the Academy began and developed over the past 25 years.
And, of course, our ensembles are back on stage throughout the month, with concerts taking place across the Netherlands.
