Imagining Tomorrow Imagining Tomorrow 2020 is an international seminar in which students will collaborate to address questions about future design thinking.

About 70 students of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC), Karlshochschule International University Germany and HKU University of the Arts Utrecht are working together on projects for external organizations. On January 19, the final results will be presented. Imagining Tomorrow 2017 is a two-week international seminar in which students will collaborate to address questions about future design thinking. They work with clients from public and private organizations in the Netherlands to propose interdisciplinary solutions. The seminar is hosted by HKU University of the Arts Utrecht. A total of 12 multidisciplinary teams will research and visualize the future dreams of their clients. Students will delve into questions of sustainability, well being, technology, creative industries, science, mobility, transportation, urban space, education and art. These questions will be directed by the clients. Students use their creativity to expose social and commercial problems of clients in an original and visionary way. The results of Imagining Tomorrow will be accomplished in cooperation between students of various participating international schools, society and business.

Imagining Tomorrow International 2020 (January 20 to 30) is a ten-day international study program in which students and coaches from the Netherlands, India and Germany work together on interdisciplinary insights and solutions for social issues. These cases come from public and private organizations.

The way students visualize is not determined by rules. This view can be expressed in many forms - performance, film, animation, installation, objects - as long as the vision of the teams is clearly articulated.

On the last day of Imagining Tomorrow International, all teams present their results to customers, teachers and students.
