Clashing opinions? Heated debates at the dinner table? Learn how to navigate tough conversations without losing connection.

In this workshop, we will discuss tools to understand polarization, set boundaries, and engage in meaningful dialogue—even with those you strongly disagree with.

We reflect on an inspiring year full of thought-provoking discussions and amazing moments. From the impact of AI and Big Tech, homelessness, and rights for nature, to microdosing, the American democracy, and the many facets of Broad Prosperity—we explored it all with passionate speakers and engaged audiences. And of course a fantastic Night University festival, outdoor cinemas, beautiful concerts and open mic nights.

Are you our new Campus Poet? ✍️

Are you a student or employee of Tilburg University and ready to inspire our campus with your words? The search for the Campus Poet 2025 is officially on!

The Campus Poet brings campus life, academic education, science, and the emotions of daily life into the spotlight through poetry. Your verses will be published in Univers and presented live during Studium Generale events throughout the year.

How to join the election:
🔸 Submit three poems, one of which has the theme 'campus life' (in Dutch or English).
🔸 Send them to [email protected] before February 10th, 2025.
🔸 Read one or two of your poems during the Open Mic & Poetry Night on February 26th, 2025.

If you win the election, you can start as the Tilburg University Campus Poet 2025 immediately. Plus, you will receive a stipend of 500 euros for your poetic efforts. 🙌
