We are thrilled to announce that this year's camp will take place at democratic school de Ruimte, in Soest, The Netherlands. The camp is open for students from all over the world from the age of 12 to 18. We are creating our own community for a week in a great outdoor setting and we will organise day trips!

Hello all, as you probably know, this year the international summer camp for children aged between 12 and 18 is held at .nl . To make this possible and to provide everyone with a place to sleep, I would like to ask you if you have a tent to borrow from the 8th to the 15th August. We (the organisation) would be greatly helped by this.

Yesterday I paid a visit to .nl to talk to the students about the camp. It was lovely to be back at the school where I have so many great memories. Can't wait for the camp to start! 🌞

Dear all,



Unfortunately we have decided to cancel our Summer Camp at De Ruimte School, Soest, Netherlands.

The Covid 19 Virus outbreak, its dangers, the impact on social distancing, travel and the economy makes the camp inviable for everybody this year.

We are very sorry in particular to those who had already reserved a place, and to those who were thinking of coming. We appreciate the confidence you have shown in our project.



We really hope to be back in 2021 with another International Democratic Summer Camp. We are open to suggestions where!



We further hope you and your loved ones are all safe and well in these difficult times and we send a big virtual hug to you all!
