Just before the Easter break, Unison High School had the pleasure of welcoming back our alumni for a special meet-and-greet and lunch with our Sixth Form students.

This inspiring event gave our students the chance to gain firsthand insights into university life, diverse courses, and potential career paths from those who’ve been in their shoes.

Our Sixth Form students found the experience both informative and motivating, expressing how valuable it was to hear from alumni who have gone on to achieve so much.

A heartfelt thank you to our Sixth Formers for organizing the event and to our alumni for generously sharing their time and stories. We wish them continued success and can’t wait to welcome them back again soon!

To wrap up an amazing STEM and Sustainability Week, 150 students from the Netherlands and Greece came together at Unison High School for the Beyond Symposium, taking bold steps toward tackling climate change!
Through dynamic workshops on topics like the circular economy and human rights, students developed the skills needed to create local solutions for global challenges. They also explored an interactive exhibition featuring 12 companies and organizations from the Netherlands and the Global South, all dedicated to promoting sustainability.
The energy, enthusiasm, and commitment of these students are shaping the path toward a brighter, greener future. A big thank you to our Sustainability Coordinator and her team for organizing such an inspiring event today!

Today, Year 2 students at Unison High School had the amazing opportunity to meet a real-life hero – firefighter and Luxembourg rugby player Sean Carroll. As part of our ‘Heroes Who Shaped the World’ topic, they’ve been learning about influential figures who have made a significant impact on society. Sean shared his personal experiences, answered questions, and gave a hands-on demonstration with his firefighting gear.

A huge thank you to Sean for taking the time to inspire our students! ✨

Let’s begin this week with some wonderful positive news! A huge thank you to the students and staff at Unison High School for their incredible efforts over the past three weeks in PSHE Global Issues lessons. As part of their SDG1: No Poverty project, the Year 11 team prepared over 50 hygiene care bags, 200 sandwiches and snacks, and wrapped books – all for our local community.

These donations were delivered to Le Courage in Bonnevoie. The dedication and energy from our students were truly inspiring! This outreach project is a remarkable example of Unison High School’s commitment to making a positive impact beyond the classroom. 🌟
