TIPS (a few) on locking your bike correctly "the good way":
- never park your bike on either end of a bikeshed, always park your bike somewhere in between
- lock your bike better then the one which is next to it
- don't park your bike where it shouldn't be parked. Like for instance onto a lamppost or a tree (the bike will probably get confiscated by the city of Maastricht).
- always fasten your bike with 2 locks. One circlelock with the back wheel. One chain lock through the frame to the bikeshed/fence
- when with your friend lock the bikes together, It's funny when it's not your friend ;-)
- don't leave your bike too long at the trainstation. It will get stolen or confiscated.
- never park you bike in the first row near the street, it'll got picked up and stolen.
