A small tribute to my Scandinavian friends; where midsummer light stretches far past reason, and the Caravelle once marked a new era. SAS helped carry the region into the jet age with this graceful machine.

Announcement!

On March 15 & 16, Aviodrome, the Dutch aviation museum, will be hosting the annual Flight Sim Weekend. This is the largest flight simulation event in the world, where, along with world-class exhibitors and developers, aviation enthusiasts from all corners of the world come together to share their projects and experiences. It’s the perfect place to explore the latest developments in flight simulation software and hardware and connect with like-minded people. The exhibition stands are surrounded by the polished aluminium of classic aircraft and the unmistakable scent of aviation history that fills the museum halls.

The Caravelle project was invited, and we will be hosting a dedicated stand. The location couldn’t be better— in the main hall, directly in front of the Caravelle cockpit!

Throughout the weekend, I’ll be there to talk about the Caravelle III, answer questions on how it was made, I'll talk in detail about all the various systems, and how it can be flown in X-Plane 12. Visitors will have the chance to sit down at the controls and fly the Caravelle themselves.

I hope many of you will be able to attend, experience it in person, and come meet me at the stand. Looking forward to an exciting weekend!

Release of version 029 just in time for the holidays!

This version features a custom and complex hydraulic system with all its consumers such as the flight controls, flaps, gear, brakes and nose wheel steering.

The Sperry HZ-4 flight director horizons, R-1 Pictorial deviation indicators and Lear L-102A autopilot have also been updates to accurately reflect their historic counterparts,
