SpaceCat Visiones

Leon Laria, aka SpaceCat, is a versatile artist and illustrator. Born in Italy, he studied Fine Arts and History and was active as an artist and curator in solo and collective exhibitions. After moving to Tunis, he immersed himself in Arabic language, calligraphy, and decoration, which led to the publication of his research on image and aesthetics in the Arabic-Islamic culture.

Seemingly destined to an academic career between France and Maghreb as a teacher/researcher, he unexpectedly shifted directions and started an even more nomadic lifestyle, exploring different experiences in several countries and cities. Now once again based in Amsterdam, he works as freelance translator and illustrator.

My name is Lorena and I am an illustrator. I love drawing, and since I discovered digital drawing, it has become my main passion. I recently decided to start a small business because I wanted to take this hobby to another level. All the designs that are printed on the products are made by me.

Ora is a space lawyer and an artist from Belgium. She has been drawing traditionally since she was 12 and she also now paints digitally, and loves to explore different media, including watercolour, oil paint, coloured pencils etc.

🐾 Update from Catcafeantwerp ! 🐾

From the end of August, Cat Cafe Antwerp will be changing ownership.
For me, this place will always hold a very special place in my heart. ❤️ It was the very first cat cafe where I organized a cat painting workshop in Europe after moving to the Netherlands, the exciting beginning of my European Paint & Purr journey! 😻

Over the past almost two years, we've painted more than 250 cats in thusi cafe! It was also the very first place where I launched my Cats&Candles and Cats&Soaps workshops!

Thank you, Tim & Safa for their trust and collaboration, to all the beautiful resident cats for their endless inspiration, and to every participant who joined my workshops! I wish Tim & Safa all the best in their new chapter, and I wish the new Cat Cafe Antwerp a new beginning!✨

My name is Eline Seegers and I am a 20 year old art student from Haarlem. Everyday I get inspired by my lovely cat Rosie, and all of the other cats around me. Their playful personality and energy is something I want to express in my artwork. I love combining my colourful artstyle with the cats I encounter in my everyday life and would like to share that with the people around me.
