Do you trust that you will always arrive safely by train? And is that really so obvious?
During the lunch lecture, Jonathan Hoogvliet and Michiel Veltman of Royal HaskoningDHV tell you why your trust is justified. They will give a talk about how they use 'invisible' automation systems to make trains travel as fast as possible, while still keeping a high level of safety. This includes, among others, systems that prevent collisions and derailment of trains. Make sure to come to Carré 3K this Monday to hear all about the subject and, of course, for some free lunch.
