How is the water dispensed from the ATM?
In our last post we chatted about how to fetch water. Did you read this? Now let’s get you further informed on the Susteq water flow! How is the water actually dispensed from the ATM? Well, Susteq Water ATM's can accommodate 1 to 3 taps (outlets). The amazing thing is that these can be used simultaneously! So both you and your neighbour can fetch water at the same time. This increases efficiency and reduces queuing times.
The Susteq ATM standard tap diameter is 1", suitable for quick filling even at low pressures. Tap diameters are available up to 2" making the ATM also suitable for example for cattle water supply and truck filling stations. A smaller diameter of ½” is also available for dispensing small quantities of (filtered) water. The water flow stops if the requested volume (eg. 20L) has been reached or if the customer presses the button again. Specific water quantities can also be set per tap and even per token.
A new chapter in the Susteq story 💦 we are moving! 💦
On Friday June 27 Susteq is moving! No worries, not very far, we will still be within the city of Enschede. But, as we will be packing waterhubs, solarpanels, coffee cups, office plants and laptops to be transported to our new location it might be a bit difficult to get in touch with us. This is Thursday June 26 and Friday June 27. We will reply to you from our new offices as of Monday June 30. 💧 How can I fetch water from the system?
A very important topic this time: How can I fetch water from the system? It all starts with your blue token! If you do not have one yet then reach out to your local contact person. Now if you do have the token make sure you have water credits on it. You can buy water credits via cash, mobile payment or via an integration with a billing system. These credits are then loaded on your blue user token, immediately ready for use! Just press the button corresponding to the tap, present your token in front of the reader and water starts flowing!
