has launched the Erasmus+ international Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) "XR Meets Health Tech: Investigating Virtual and Augmented Realities in the Age of AI", bringing together participants from 14 different countries 🌍
🤝 The programme focuses on the development of creative and interactive XR solutions for healthcare, rehabilitation, prevention, and other health technology-related fields. Participants gain knowledge of XR fundamentals, AI integration, and data utilization while working on real-world challenges.
The programme consists of:
Part 1 – theoretical and conceptual preparation;
Part 2 – an intensive AR/VR hackathon, during which participants develop functional XR prototypes.
🗓️ The intensive programme will take place from 3–7 June.
The BIP is an international intensive learning programme that combines online preparation with an on-site AR/VR hackathon at Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences. The programme focuses on the development of Extended Reality (XR) solutions for healthcare, health technologies, and rehabilitation, integrating artificial intelligence, sensors, and data analytics.

🌙 E³UDRES² at the European Night of Museums 2026
How can digital innovation make cultural heritage more accessible, interactive and engaging?
At the UPT Technical Museum, more than 400 visitors had the chance to explore exactly that during the European Night of Museums 2026.
Supported by E³UDRES², the evening brought together technology, education and culture through VR and mixed reality experiences, AR games, digital heritage applications and guided tours around MECIPT-1, Romania’s first academic computer.
Visitors of all ages discovered how Timișoara’s cultural heritage can be experienced in new ways, while also exploring student-created applications such as “Bell Labs Expo”.
A meaningful example of how E³UDRES² connects universities, innovation and regional communities across Europe. 🌍

Passing on the fire of the Talent app 🔥
5 institutions, 13 staff and 4 students gathered at Hogeschool UCLL to give an extra boost to the Talent app. With the hot weather in Belgium it quickly reached the boiling point and the fire got started. In just two days there was a plan, there were concrete goals to work towards and everyone left with fire to make the app reach the promised 10.000 students.

"Around the World in 80 Bites"
Flavours, music, dance, science, and unforgettable memories – Magyar Agrár- és Élettudományi Egyetem - MATE 5th Jubilee International Dinner brought the world together in one vibrant evening of culture and connection. 🎉
International student chef teams from 28 countries prepared and presented 74 different traditional dishes, while cultural performances filled the stage with energy, rhythm, and traditions from the students’ home countries. 🎶💃
One of the highlights of the night was the E³UDRES² Science Pub Quiz 🧠⚡ where around 50 small international student teams competed on Kahoot, answering more than 50 engaging questions about life sciences, food sciences, sustainability, and E³UDRES² activities in a lively and interactive atmosphere.
MATE is grateful to all participants who cooked, performed, organized, danced, played, and celebrated together, once again proving that diversity connects us. 🌟

✨ Technology, Health & Sustainability, Across Borders 🌍
E acabou… This week marked the successful conclusion of the “Technological Solutions for Healthy Development” BIP at 🇵🇹
Combining online and onsite activities, the programme created a dynamic interdisciplinary environment where students worked in international teams to co-create technological solutions focused on health, well-being, and sustainable development ♻️💡
From design thinking workshops and collaborative ideation sessions to prototyping and real-world problem solving, participants explored how technology can positively impact society while developing intercultural and professional skills!
The onsite week in Setúbal was filled with creativity, teamwork, cultural exchange, different challenges and, most importantly, friendship 🫂🫶🏻
Together, we built ideas, friendships, and solutions for a healthier and more sustainable future 💫
