Our students have taken their understanding of order of operations beyond simply solving problems by transforming it into art. By carefully working through each step and then expressing their solutions through patterns, colors, and designs, they’ve shown how structured thinking and imagination can truly complement one another. Each piece is not only mathematically accurate, but also a reflection of the student’s unique perspective and creativity.

Learning in this way goes far beyond memorizing rules. It strengthens problem-solving skills, deepens understanding, and builds confidence by allowing students to visualize and connect concepts in meaningful ways. Integrating art into math encourages engagement, supports different learning styles, and helps students see beauty in logic. We are so proud of how they embraced both the challenge and the creative process, proving that when students are given the space to explore, learning becomes both powerful and inspiring 🎨💡

🔬🥣 Science in the Kitchen: Separation of Substances! 🍳✨

This week, our young scientists turned everyday ingredients into lab materials — using 🟡 chickpeas, 🟠 lentils, ⚫ black beans, and 🌾 flour!

We explored:
🔹 Handpicking – Separating pulses like pros (being picky is officially scientific now 😄).
🔹 Sorting by size & color – Chickpeas quickly realized they are not lentils.
🔹 Sieving – Flour passed smoothly through the sieve while the lumps were politely left behind.

The best part? Students discovered this isn’t just a science lesson, it’s everyday life!

Sorting pulses before cooking? Science.
Sieving flour for baking? Science.

Turns out, every kitchen is secretly a laboratory… and dinner is basically an experiment. 🧪✨

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated educator to join our after-school learning center. The ideal candidate is someone who truly believes in the power of education, enjoys supporting students outside traditional school hours, and is excited about helping young learners grow. This role requires a teacher who is comfortable working during afternoon hours and who brings enthusiasm, patience, and a genuine love for working with both primary and secondary students. eduBridge team is expanding and looking for enthusiastic and collaborative teachers willing to work part-time and join our team for our after-school learning center in Amsterdam Zuid.

Responsibilities:
* Conduct classes independently in their respective subjects
* Creating lesson plans using various tools and technologies
* Conduct classes inline with the IB curriculum
* Conduct assessments to evaluate child’s level
* Assessing and adapting as per the learning needs of children
* Helping eduBridge grow and mature as an organization
* Mentoring assistant and trainee teachers whenever required

Knowledge and experience:
* Be able to demonstrate competence in their respective subject
* Excellent knowledge and experience of different teaching and educational methodologies
* Prior teaching experience in a school or similar setting
* Preferable experience with international curriculum (IB)

Abilities:
* Working collaboratively and professionally
* Stimulate students’ learning skills
* A caring attitude towards the kids
* Patience, punctuality, and perseverance
* Fluent in spoken and written English

Working hours:
* Variable hours ~ 10 -12 hrs. per week
* Afternoon timings (after school hours)
