These photos take me back to the very first days of the Tiri Tiri Flamenco Choir in Amsterdam, in 2022. A time full of curiosity, discovery, and the first sparks of something that would grow into a beautiful community.

Captured by our dear friend Lulu Lightning, these moments show one of our early rehearsals—sharing rhythm, voice, and energy together, alongside the wonderful dancer Claudia Karapanou.

So much passion in the room, so many new voices finding their place within flamenco… 💃🎶

Grateful for how it all started—and excited for everything that continues to unfold.

Every summer, I organize flamenco festivals in GREECE, in Crete and in Ypati.
They are not just festivals.
They are meeting points.
People come from all over the world, drawn by flamenco, and through it they travel to discover Greece — its landscapes, its rhythm, its people — and they become part of our community.

Different languages, different backgrounds, different stories, sharing the same compás, the same tables, the same sunsets.
What is created there goes far beyond classes or performances.
It is coexistence.
It is belonging.
These are priceless moments — moments that stay with us long after the music fades.
And this, too, is why I keep going. ✨

From January to June 2026, we gather in Amsterdam Noord for a new cycle of flamenco singing classes, two Saturdays per month.

This series dives deep into the expressive world of Rondeñas, while also embracing the festive energy of Bulerías and Tangos festeros.
Whether you come to study, to listen, or to share, these classes are more than lessons — they are community gatherings. A space to learn together, sing together, and grow together.
