Wound (2026)
Wound explores the relationship between food, body image, and mental well-being through the physical gesture of cutting and stitching the canvas. The surface is opened horizontally and visibly repaired, leaving the scar exposed as a structural element.
The interior layers combine collage references to laughter, social expectation, and distorted representations of the body. They reflect the experience of being defined by appearance and learning to use humor as a way to be accepted. For years, food represented both comfort and conflict, a negotiation between approval and emotional balance.
Rather than concealing rupture, the work presents repair as an ongoing condition. The scar does not disappear; it becomes part of the composition, acknowledging vulnerability without surrendering to it.
Now I know that is more important laughing together, than make people laugh!
Be happy, be proud, be you!

24 Strangers, 24 stories, 1 Table...
What happened during the "Embrace your inner Brussels sprout" exhibition at .ndsm was pure magic.
We started with a simple idea: using food to peel back the layers that divide us. We had guests from all over the globe, from Colombia to Norway, Vietnam to Bari, and sat them down together. Those who entered as strangers left as friends.
We talked about grandmothers who hid secrets in their recipes, poppy seed rolls that taste like heritage, and the rhythmic sound of polenta being stirred on a wood-fired stove. We discovered that no matter how different our backgrounds are, we are all searching for the same warmth in a bowl.
📖 THE BOOKLET IS HERE!
I have collected all these memories and recipes (in my signature vegan versions, with nods to the traditional originals) into a digital booklet, now available for FREE download on my webstore!.
Think of it as a small atlas of flavors and lives, designed to get stained with flour in your own kitchens.
Try the recipes, read the stories, and remember: there is no better way to discover the world than to sit down and listen.
A huge thank you to everyone who brought their heart to the table. ❤️

Chocolate & Brussels Sprout Brownie
Created for the opening of Embrace Your Inner Brussels Sprout, this cake plays with the unexpected.
Brussels sprouts, often seen as too bitter or too much, are transformed into something rich, soft and comforting.
A reminder that what we tend to reject, in food as in people, can surprise us when given a chance.
Soon the recipe on my blog!
Was a success! Approved by kids too!

Cooking in Dialogue with
Part of the exhibition "Embrace your inner Brussels sprout" we gathered around a table that became a space for exchange.
We began inside the exhibition, letting images and textures guide us into the evening.
Then the dialogue unfolded.
An artwork became a starter: blue cabbage cream, beetroot carpaccio, gray sunflower seeds hummus, sesame seeds and beetroot chips!
A dish turned into an image: polenta, red veggies stew and crispy stripes of pastinaca, carrot and banana!
Between courses, a collective piece slowly took shape through drawing, colour and collage; a shared pause that brought people together.
New connections, unexpected conversations, and a table where food and art met through people.
Thank you to everyone who joined and created with us.
And to Rika Maja Duevel for this beautiful dialogue in motion 💛 Thanks Otto for your improve music, you created the perfect line between food and art! And thanks for the photos! And last but not least, thanks and to be always by my side!

From dough to zero-waste magic ✨
In one of our latest workshop, we explored the art of fresh pasta and sustainable flavoring. We made handmade pasta from scratch, including a delicious gluten-free version infused with matcha (yes, that beautiful green one in the photo 💚).
But we didn’t stop there. Using pasta molds, we transformed leftover dough into crispy pasta crackers: the perfect aperitivo bite.
Then we dived into food waste creativity: onion and garlic peels, carrot tops, and herbs, all carefully washed and toasted, became a fragrant, homemade aromatic salt. A simple, powerful ingredient you can use as a vegetable stock base or to elevate any dish.
Cooking is not just about nourishment, it’s about care, creativity, and giving new life to what we usually throw away.

Clowning through machines, noise and nonsense 🤡⚙️
Last November I joined the show competition by Visionair Ordinair at Treehouse NDSM, dedicated to the sounds of machinery.
Together with my dear , we were meant to assist by presenting the real sounds of the tools… but we turned it into a complete mess.
Something new for me, where I discovered, quite joyfully, my own self-irony and a desire to play.
Still buzzing in my system.

Wardrobe of Lost Seasons
presented in Temporarily Out of Space
A wardrobe that does not dress the body, but time.
Wardrobe of Lost Seasons gathers fragments of suspended seasons, memories that no longer belong to a calendar, identities shifting between what has been and what is yet to take shape.
Each element becomes a trace: layers, textures, and marks holding transitions, transformations, and absences.
Like garments forgotten between one move and another, these “lost seasons” continue to exist within us.
Presented during Temporarily Out of Space, the work inhabits a liminal space where time bends and the sense of belonging dissolves.
An invitation to move through what is no longer and what is not yet.
Thank you Asia for the photos!

We Fly With All We Are 🪁
During Museum Night at Treehouse NDSM, I presented my installation as part of Stories of an Evolving Artist, curated by
A giant teddy bear holding a kite became a reflection of my journey: from feeling out of place, judged, and wanting to disappear, to embracing my body, my identity, and my freedom.
The fabrics at the base carry songs from my most difficult teenage years, song that help me a lot from , , and .
The kite’s tails tell a different story — one of courage, transformation, and learning to fly in my own way. One again music helped me

What once felt like weight is now the wind that lifts me.
