Set in an intimate living room environment, utilizing the YouTube platform, a single camera perspective, and one microphone, participants gain insight into the dynamics of how a small group delves into the art of teaching.
The Online Studio provides you with the chance to remotely peer into a teaching practice, offering a glimpse into the intricacies of the craft.
Please note that the sessions will be conducted in English.
BEING TAUGHT TO TEACH
Each student is different. Teaching a healthy vocal technique takes time, patience, and a lot of practice. Margreet Honig has dedicated her working life to teaching singers. In recent years, she has shifted her focus to teaching teachers. Maarten Koningsberger, a lifelong student of Margreet, is an experienced singer and voice teacher. Together, they have conducted numerous courses and masterclasses.
Online participants in MHF Studio enhance their ability to hear and see what needs to be done by observing active participants working under the guidance of Maarten Koningsberger. Margreet Honig will be a regular guest teacher in this program.
THE ONLINE EXPERIENCE
The MHF-Studio offers nine sessions per curriculum year, during which small groups of teachers work with their own students and receive immediate feedback from Maarten. The active participants will study professional literature which will also be made available to the online participants. There will be guest teachers during the season.
WHO CAN APPLY?
Singers who actively teach can apply for the MHF Online-Studio. Maarten Koningsberger and Margreet Honig will select the candidates.
