If you have already started your application, don’t be put off by the looming deadline.

You still have time to finish it and send it off. Don’t be too hard on yourself. Keep it simple.

Meet Moving Image Tutor Rob Schröder

Rob Schröder is a Dutch graphic designer and documentary filmmaker. He was the founder of ‘Wild Plakken’, a politically activist designer collective working for (among others) cultural institutions. He was a professor at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy and also one the founders of the Sandberg Institute. As a documentary maker he worked on independent programmes and films, as well as for broadcaster VPRO. In 2018, Schröder made the film Possessed together with Metahaven, which was nominated for a Hivos Tiger Award.

At Resolution, Rob will focus on the necessity of solidarity, what it takes to make a film, and, with comrade Lenin, how to answer the question “what’s to be done?”
