My Dad on a Psilocybin Journey - pioneering modern family therapy.....

This is my dad and me- Dad being nearly 80 years old. He wanted a psychedelic journey with me as his guide. What an honour. And what a journey.

Today, I want to share a deeply personal story with all of you—a story that transcends professional boundaries and touches the very core of who I am as a person and as my father's daughter.

Our family relationships are complicated. To say the least. I did not become a professional in the field of couples and family therapy without reason, like most of us. In our family, words are not the love language.

Over the years, I embarked on a journey that led me to the realm of psychedelic-assisted therapy. Little did I know that this path would intersect with the deepest recesses of my personal life. As fate would have it, I found myself in the unique position of being both my father's guide and his daughter, navigating the intricate tapestry of emotions and healing together.

Through this extraordinary process, I have come to appreciate the delicate dance of non-verbal communication. Words may falter, but the unspoken language of gestures, glances, and shared moments holds a depth that words alone cannot capture. In these non-verbal exchanges, I deepened an understanding of my father's repressed emotions, fears, and aspirations—his very essence as a human being.

Guiding my father through his psychedelic journey has allowed us to peel back layers, to truly see each other, and to heal wounds that had long remained hidden. It has given me the opportunity to witness a transformation, mainly my own.

My Dad- speaking volumes without uttering many words. Now, almost 1 year later, he wants to do it again. How cool is that.
