It's December 1st ...time to start making a list of goals for 2026. Adding this.

What a magical Monday! To be able to "gift" a welcome mirror to my dear friends was truly a gift to me. I've painted and written on hundreds of mirrors in my career, yet this one was so special....and really fun. To dive back into something I did for years in Chicago somehow felt different this time around. I felt lighter. I felt creative. I didn't have a plan and I was ok with it. Maybe that's what Amsterdam does to you. Or maybe when you know the couple being reflected into it is exactly who you want to mirror, everything is just easier....happier.

To and .ed .... What a gift you bring to the world with a love that everyone wants to mirror. 🧡

I always planned to give my sister a painting of her bouquet as a wedding gift. Unfortunately, it took me 11 years to get it to her. 🙃 Better late than never!

Last week I was in Washington DC for a conference and some extra holiday time spent with my mom. This was my first time in DC and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. The city was exceptionally clean with easy public transportation and navigation. While I didn't get to all 116+ museums, what I did see felt enriching. I'll have to make another visit sometime to check off more of those museum boxes.

Happy Mother's Day to all of the moms ... whether they live near or far, are mothers to fur babies or bonus moms to other babies. I'm so lucky to be surrounded by wonderful mothers.

Hope everyone enjoyed their Easter weekend. "Lente" is spring in Dutch, and it is full on spring over here. Full flowers are being painted!

This building feels like a living soul with so much history and character. I love being a part of it.
