Here is the last episode of our mini-series โHard times in the Netherlandsโ.
This time Danielle Rodriguez, an pedagogy student from Aruba, is sharing her experience with the difficulty of living in a place that doesnโt feel like home.
As a bonus Redjahni Isenia an engineering student from Curaรงao is also sharing tips and encouraging words for students that are also from the islands.

Moving away from home might seem like a piece of cake. But moving to another country, with a different culture and different climate comes with lot of new challenges and responsibilities. Rahul Sharma is a student from St. Martin who knows all too well what this means. He was brave enough to share what he has been through as a student from an island in a new country.
